Land der Berge, Land am Strome,(English: Land of the mountains, land on the river) Music: Johann Holzer,Lyrics: Paula von Preradović Band: United States Navy Band Development history: Work began at (about) 18.30 on May 15th. I first imported the melody from a midi file and started the Vocaloid processing. There sure were a lot of hard words, such as "Strome" and "zukunftsreich". Zukunftsreich, with its five successive consonants nftsr, was especially difficult. However, writing the melody and lyrics took only about 2,5 hours. Then I added some expression to Miku's singing (vibrato, mostly), which took about 45 minutes (maybe). Tempo-fitting with the instrumentation took another 2,5 hours. Then I mixed Miku and the band together with Audacity and amplified Miku's volume a bit. I made the video with Windows Movie Maker, which took only a few minutes.
